When selling a home one of the most common questions is "Do I replace the carpet or just offer a credit so they buyer can choose what they want'? The answer to this question may surprise you. When I go in for a seller consultation and discover the sellers goals and motivation for selling I always ask and point out to them that they want to sell and be in the best negotiating position as possible.
