As I was on my run this morning doing my daily morning M.E.A.L routine in beautiful sunny Florida I was about 6 minutes in and to my shock and amazement there was a $100 dollar bill laying on the sidewalk. I stopped paused my apple watch app looked around and started laughing because when I looked around there was yes you guessed it another $100 bill a few feet away from the first one.
You all know and have heard me say how when you get into action things happen. I had been kind of lax on my morning M.E.A.L routine in the past few weeks as I was preparing for my business trip and finishing up my week-long six hours to six figures masterclass in my Facebook group, so to say the least I had been super busy and I let myself get into the habit of not committing and doing my daily morning ritual of the M.E.A.L routine. I had begun noticing myself just not right because when I do my morning routine consistently it not only helps me have a great productive day it puts me in the right state of mind for success and productivity.
In my personal development journey over the last 10 years, I have worked on and created my own little habits and acronyms one being the morning M.E.A.L routine, I had implemented it since 2015 when I wrote about it in my #1 bestselling book Maximize Your Profits Trading Facebook for Facetime. I have since then added it to my coaching program for my real estate clients and they have found it to be a game-changer in their life as well. I noticed Realtors in general do not have a morning routine, so when I created the morning M.E.A.L I got about 10 Realtors who committed to implement it for 30 days and their results were amazing. So now it is part of my training and coaching program and daily routine.
To give more proof that morning routines work I recently started following and listening to Hal Elrod, Hal is the creator of the Miracle Morning book and a huge Facebook community of over 300,000 people. He solely focuses on teaching the power of having a morning routine and how it dramatically enhance your life and productivity. His group and testimonials prove the power of having and sticking to a morning.
If you have not heard or know what my morning M.E.A.L routine is I will share it now so you can take it and implement it right now in your life and see the results for yourself. The magical part is it will only take you 1 hour to complete. If you do not have an hour to invest in yourself then HOUSTON we have a problem, because that means your priorities are not in alignment with your purpose and I can definitely help with that.
M-Meditation- or some sort of quiet time for 10 minutes. You want to be able to sit and be with no distractions for as little as 10 minutes. This can dramatically change your day because with you sit with just your thoughts, no phones, emails, or distractions you can really get into yourself internally, and when you do it over a period of time you get to learn yourself more and can listen.. Yes, I said listen, what I mean is when you are in silence with no distractions you can actually be intentional and you will gain not only internal peace but also happiness with yourself.
E-Excercise- 20 minutes. Most people think to exercise it needs to be for hours, but in all actuality, if you did 20 minutes a day every day for a year that would add up to 7,300 hours and 121.6 hours a year which is in total three forty-hour workweeks a year. Do you think you can make a complete transformation in your physical health in just twenty minutes a day?
A-Affirmations/Visualization- 10 minutes daily. By the time in my coaching program for Real Estate Professionals where we discuss affirmations and visualization is after we have created and planned their life. (Yes you can create and plan the life you desire). Affirmations and visualization help reprogram our subconscious minds through our reticular activation system. So doing this intentionally daily will also have a dramatic impact on our overall success and wellbeing.
L-Learning- 20 minutes daily in your field. Imagine you committed to the morning M.E.A.L routine and learned something new every day in your field or a field you want to get in for your ideal job or career. For me, I train and coach Real Estate Professionals who want to earn a high six-figure income while working six hours daily. So I have them learn something in the real estate industry daily or what is going on in their community. When you do this you can then be of service and add value to your community which in turn will generate business.
As a Realtor or real estate professional will you make the commitment to yourself to implement the morning M.E.A.L routine? It has the power to literally change your life.
I want to end by sharing a great quote from one of the greatest (in my opinion) personal development teachers in history.
Earl Nightingale said many years ago that one hour per day of study in your chosen field was all it takes. One hour per day of study will put you at the top of your field within three years. Within five years you'll be a national authority. In seven years, you can be one of the best people in the world at what you do.
The time is going to pass anyway, why not make it the best for you???
