Day three of #MediMagic365 is complete and I must say today was difficult for me. I felt tired and that I just wanted to go back to bed. But I started my with normal routine of sitting cross legged and closing my eyes, taking deep belly breaths. When I started to relax and be I let go and relaxed all the muscles in my body starting with my head and face and worked down. I soon started to feel my mind wanted and be involved in the thoughts that came to me rather than just observe. I was getting thoughts like the upcoming work week, my exercise routine what I needed to accomplish today, what my son needs for the upcoming week at school and how I can help him etc... When I noticed myself becoming involved in the thoughts I would revert back to my breathing exercise and that would help center and ground me once again where I could just "be" for a few minutes.
Today's meditation reinforced my decision of committing to #MediMagic365 and why it is called a meditation practice,because it is meant to be practiced we are not masters of anything including our bodies and minds without practice.
Conclusion, Today for me was a reinforcement that this journey came to me so strongly for a reason, I need a consistent meditation practice so I can just "be" and connect with the universe and my inner self.
