Day six of #MediMagic365 is complete I started a bit earlier today at 5:10 am. I started today with the same format I have been using with the deep belly breaths and the white light filling every inch of my body. In today's meditation I just fell into the natural state of being, no "monkey mind", thoughts or brain chatter. I was amazed how I went from being fully aware to just "being". It was kind of uncomfortable at first as every few minutes at the beginning I would let my conscious mind take over and lead me to believe I needed to be thinking about or planning something even though I was meditating. But after a few rounds of this I gave myself permission to just be. Once I allowed myself and gave myself permission to just be the remainder of meditation was simply magical, not that I got any special message or revelation but that I know our natural state is just to be.
When was the last time you gave yourself permission to just be in your natural state of being without planning, thinking, worrying or involved in some sort of activity? I would encourage you to allow yourself to get into that natural state as often as you can as that is where our creativity comes from. If we are always "busy how are we ever supposed to get new ideas and inspirations?
Conclusion: As I allowed myself to just "be" with no agenda I found myself now after meditation to have more energy and a sense that I know I am relaxed, calm and in the present moment which is all we have anyway.
