#MediMagic365 Day Eight Of The Magical Journey

Day eight of #MediMagic365 is complete I again started at 5:20 am and began my meditation by gently closing my eyes and proceeded to relax every muscle in my body starting with my face and moving down. Once I completed this I was able to imagine my entire body and every cell, muscle, bone and limb filled with white light. It was just there I didn't need to go through the process of concentrating and filling it with the white light.

As I was relaxed into my meditation and just "being" and immerssed in the white light I felt in total comfort and receving mode to what ever the universe was ready to give. But about three quarters into my meditation my thoughts started coming up and instead of observing I felt my self giving in and focusing on them. So I went back to my belly breathing exercise and did that until I came back to being centered in my meditation. It is much easier for me now to get back to that centered place when I do become my thoughts rather than observe, but I realized in today's meditation that it is an ongoing process and that is why it is called a meditation practice, because it is continuous and each time you or I meditate it will be an experience that  we are ready to have. As Ralph Waldo Emersons quote says "People only see what they are ready to see".  And in today's meditation I believe that is what I was meant to see and experience.

Conclusion: Meditation just like anything else takes consistent practice. Each time we meditate we get what "We are ready to see". So I encourage you to stay on track and not let one experience in meditation discourage you to stop, persistence and consistency are key. And to only have five minutes of a twenty minute meditation have to work on getting centered means I had an amazing fifteen minutes of of just "being" and the benefits received from that surpass the five minutes of getting back to center.

I thank you for taking the time to read and if you feel inspired to comment below and share your experience or share my blog and journey with others I would be grateful.

Thank you David Wolfe for today's image in the blog post.

Love, Joy & Happiness to You.

With Gratitude,

Waylon
