Day ninety eight of #MediMagic365 is complete I started my meditation today at 5:10 am with my normal routine of big deep belly breaths, relaxing my entire body and muscles and filling my body with white light. I sat in my normal pose of sitting with my legs crossed and hands resting on my knees palms facing up with my index finger and thumb touching so the energy I was circulating throughout my body would stay within me and not release through my palms.
For today's meditation I was in a state of happiness, gratitude and appreciation. The reason I believe I was in such a great state is one because I believe and intend that to be my natural state of being and two I had a great day yesterday filled with happiness and joy. I achieved that by taking inspired action on a project myself and a co-creator are working on, I sat and worked through to build this product that we will be releasing by the end of April for about four hours with ease and grace. When I say inspired action that means not to "work" but to "create" and when you take inspired action it is something you want to do and when you are doing it you are in a complete state of happiness and love so whatever you are doing is being done with happiness and love and being created by that and will therefore be done to the best of your ability and better because you want to do it. The difference between inspired action and what is the "norm" for most people is people take action on things they feel they "should" to so it seems like a chore therefore it's done the quickest and easiest way possible so it can get completed and we can justify to ourselves we took action and did what needed to be done, in all actuality we know in our hearts we did the minimum possible just to get by. This is mostly done in our work environment. Take a minute and think, Do you love what you do? Are you in a place of fun and joy at work or in your career or are you there because you "have" to be to pay your bills and get by? Are you grateful for your job or career that affords you to provide for your family, provides you with a place to call home, take your family on vacations and play? If the answer is no then I suggest you find the things that make you come alive and put you in a state of happiness and joy. Why?
Conclusion: When you are in a state of happiness, joy and appreciation things seem to just flow and you are not doing things you "have to" any thing you do should be done because you want to and enjoy it not because you "should". No I am not saying quit your job, get divorced or married or take any drastic life changes, but what i am saying is take a minute to think what is it you are doing that brings you the most happiness? is it spending time with your kids, family, spouse? Reading a book? Having coffee with a friend? Exercising, yoga?
Whatever that is to you I would suggest to implement one to two things weekly where you can have time spent in those areas even for just five to ten minutes. That five to ten minutes of you doing something that brings you into a state of happiness will literally transform the other areas of your life.
