Day thirteen of #MediMagic365 is complete I started my meditation today at 5:10 am with my normal routine of big deep belly breaths, relaxing my entire body and muscles and filling myself with white light starting with my heart and working my way out from there.
During today's meditation I was able to just "be" I felt relaxed and in a space of happiness,joy and love. For me being able to do this without having to consciously calm my "monkey mind" is a big achievement since before I started the #MediMagic365 meditation journey I was not able to do this. This has also helped me in my daily work activities as I no longer am thinking what all needs to be done right now rather I am more focused and can focus on one task at a time until it is complete and done right rather than rushing and thinking about what needs to be done next only to not give the attention needed to the task at hand. I have not changed any other behaviors in my life other than adding daily consistent meditation practice.
Conclusion: Through my daily meditation practice I know now it is possible to live in the present moment and also be present with whomever I am with at any given moment whether it be my wife, son, friend, or a coaching client and I am able to listen with not listening to give a response but to listen and be present. This thirteen days of meditation have been simply magical and I am looking forward to evolving even more as the journey continues.
