Day twenty one of #MediMagic365 is complete I started my meditation today at 5:15 am with my normal routine of big deep belly breaths, relaxing my entire body and muscles and filling myself with white light starting with my heart and working my way out from there. The position I chose for today's meditation was with the bottoms of my feet touching to keep the energy flowing through my body.
As I started my meditation today I quickly found myself in the state of "being" and in the present moment. I had a smile on my face and noticed I was more mindful during today's meditation. By mindful I mean I was focused in the present moment and was noticing things like the heater in my home switching on and hearing the heat coming out from the vents, I heard the slight wind outside that made the trees and bushes blow back and forth, I heard the siren of an ambulance going past on the road close to my home, I heard a horn going off on a car right down the road from my home also. So being mindful in meditation and in our daily life means we are in the present moment 100% and giving our attention to what we are doing. To me that means if we are in the present moment each part of our day we are adding value and serving whom ever it may be at that particular moment whether it be at work, with a friend over lunch or with your spouse or children, we we are in the present moment we are giving whatever we are doing our full attention and in turn that is bringing respect, value and service to ourselves and others that we are involved with.
Conclusion: In today's meditation I was given the value of the present moment and reminded that is all we have. I love this quote by Eckhart Tolle: "Realize deeply that the present moment is all you have. Make the NOW the primary focus of your life" I know I have had this experience in an earlier meditation but I believe it came to me again because I was ready and I am now ready to embrace the present moment and fully understand it deeply to implement and live it in my daily life. I hope you choose to do the same.
